SHORTLISTED - LARGE LOANS MORTGAGE ADVISOR OF THE YEAR 2009 - BRITISH MORTGAGE AWARDS
Mortgage Solutions Magazine recognised that 2009 was a tough year in the mortgage industry "seeing substantial changes and significant casualties. Yet, in spite of these demanding times and the well publicised upheaval, fine work is still being done by individuals within the intermediated market... the fifth annual British Mortgage Awards was held to ensure that those individuals who deserve it receive the recognition for their achievements and ongoing support for their efforts that may just help to get the market – and the economy – back on its feet."
To be shortlisted for this presitgious award in such a difficult year was fantastic, particularly bearing in mind the specific challenges that effected the top end of the mortgage market!

The British Mortgage Awards
The British Mortgage Awards highlighted outstanding talent at a spectacular showcase of the industry's highest achievers at the Royal Albert Hall in July.
The mortgage industry came together to celebrate its own at the prestigious awards ceremony, which is hosted by the Incisive Media Mortgage Division, publisher of Mortgage Solutions. The event, in its second year is designed to recognise individual excellence and the contribution key figures have made to the mortgage industry.
More than 1,000 figures from the industry came together to applaud the vital role individuals play in making the mortgage sector one of the most dynamic financial markets in the UK.
With the record number of individual nominations received, it was clear the industry recognised that it is still a people market and people are behind the innovations that drive it forward.
The evening, hosted by top comedian Al Murray, also featured Moulin Rouge-style dancers and acrobats, keeping guests entertained between awards."
