parents, and staff who have benefited from larger
refurbished Sunny Day Nurseries over the last
three years, financed by sustainable funding
you arranged on our behalf in 2004/5, on excellent
terms and conditions, that has enabled us to
put our foot on the gas, accelerate our business
forward from circa £600k t/o to this year
projecting £1.6m t/o.
With your help
and support we borrowed £2.4 m to finance
our development, which was concluded successfully,
consolidating our business, and also providing
us with extra business capacity and significantly
a confident stable funding platform to focus
on propelling sales by £1m in three years.
This has been
achieved in partnership with you. This success
started entirely due to your commitment to us
and our business. You sourced and negotiated
the deal for us, holding our hand throughout
the application process and due diligence. You
were entirely professional in all dealings.
We thought the
deal was sharp then, but now in the midst of
the 'credit crunch' the deal is really of huge
benefit to our business and just could not be
bettered in the current market.
You put a human
face on finance which can often be a daunting
area to venture for small businesses.
Your determination
to make this happen was most impressive, against
what at the time seemed like insurmountable
problems and obstacles. Others would have 'thrown
in the towel'!! You however, were more and more
determined as more obstacles presented, you
resolved them and moved forward.
Remarkably you
achieved all this in a very practical fashion,
always with humour, and always with time to
listen to us and comfort our concerns.
In addition
to which you did not leave us, but have retained
contact to ensure we are supported, and you
have always been prepared to negotiate adjustments
to the package direct with the funders.
